Caribbean Insurers (Health) Limited ("CIHL") has been in business since 1998 and was formed as a wholly owned subsidiary of Caribbean Insurers Ltd, which was founded in the BVI in 1973. CIHL is a full service health insurance Agency – from quotations - to enrollment - to claims service.
Through AM Best ‘A’ rated Insurers - Lloyd’s, Nemwil, and Sagicor – plus the UK’s top health Insurer, BUPA - CIHL provides a whole range of health and life insurance products. Together, these four Companies provide health and life insurance coverage to millions of people worldwide. Our team of health associates has well over 100 years collective experience in the health insurance business. Each Company is financially responsible for its own insurance products. Primary Health Care products include Premier Health Plan, Premier Plus Health Plan, Classic Health Plan and Essential Health Plan, with a full range of Life products underwritten by Sagicor and BUPA. CIHL is headquartered in Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands, and has operations offices in Anguilla, and affiliates in Antigua, Trinidad & Tobago, Puerto Rico and other Caribbean territories.
